If you are using WordPress as your blog or website, please do not leave without activating the plugin Askimet. This WordPress Plugin can help You become a target of spammers. Which of course can harm You spammer attacks.
Not only can drain your bandwidth allotments, though you have unlimited bandwidth, this will be detrimental to You anyway. Because it can cause the server to be busy because of attacks by spammers, this can result in You getting a reprimand or even a website/blog You may be exposed to suspend.
How to activate the Askimet plugin this is not difficult, here's how:
- Login to your WordPress.
- In the sidebar, select the Plugins, then find and activate Askimet.
- Next is to complement the akismet API, code to the akismet API code can be found here https://akismet.com/signup/#free-api-key
- You will receive a shipment email containing the akismet API code enter the next code API akismet hits into Your akismet plugin and check the tick box below him.
- If there is a new update from the Askimet, always to the update, so that the plugin is working to its full potential.
